><h4>Latvian singer<\/h4>\n<p lang=\"lv-LV\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">She was born in Riga, in 1971. While being a student at Riga secondary School Nr\u00a064, she attended the piano playing circle and the drawing studio of Hel\u0113na and Ivars Heinrihsons. She acquired her musical education in choral conducting department, initially, under the supervision of Inta Eizenberga at J\u0101zeps Medi\u0146\u0161 Music Secondary School, then Professor J\u0101nis D\u016bmi\u0146\u0161 at J\u0101zeps V\u012btols Academy of Music. In 1995, she was awarded the Bachelor\u2019s degree. Regarding vocal art, she acquired it under the supervision of Prof. Ludmila Rjabova\u00a0\u2013 Brauna (1996-1998), and in the chamber ensemble class of Maija Kr\u012bgena un P\u0113teris Plakidis (1998-2000), achieving the Master\u2019s degree in 2003. Concurrently, she finished her master\u2019s degree studies in pedagogy at the University of Latvia (1997-1999).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"lv-LV\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Since 2000, she has participated in the stage productions of Latvian National Opera (initially as a choir artist, but since 2008 as a soloist). Predominantly, the repertoire of her roles includes the Russian opera music and the opera music of modern Latvian composers: Olga and the nanny at Yevgeny Onegin and Lyubova at Mazepa by Peter Tchaikovsky, Dunyasha at The Tzar\u2019s Bride by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Smeraldina at Love For Three Oranges by Sergei Prokofiev, Grieta at The Heiress of Vilkaci by Bruno Skulte, the Mole-cricket at I Played, I Danced by Imants Kalni\u0146\u0161, Mother at Dauka by Andris Dzen\u012btis, Polynesia at The Bird Opera by J\u0101nis L\u016bs\u0113ns, The Black Lady at Mikhail and Mikhail Play Chess by Kristaps P\u0113tersons, Alma at Valentina by Arturs Maskats, the Poetess (Master\u2019s sister) at Walled In by \u0112riks E\u0161envalds, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"lv-LV\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">However, one of her most vivid artistic manifestations is exactly the genre of chamber music and renditions of various large scale vocal and instrumental pieces. Predominantly the interpretation of contemporary music and the music of Latvian composers lies at the centre of her attention, yet, she is also willing to sing the baroque and romanticism repertoire, paying great attention to the revelation of text and content. The singer is praised for her subtle sense of style, as well as for her amazing capability to interpret the music of the 20-th century.
